"Everything's turning up Milhouse!"
well, i guess today just goes to show that God will always pull through in His own miraculous ways and timing. so after 9 straight rejections courtesy of jobmine, things finally started to turn up simon. today was hectic. i had a lot on my mind. i had my g2 road test today. and for me, it meant so much more than just the "freedom" to drive on my own -- granted that IS a plus, but this just meant more. it meant that now i actually have a shot at getting employed for my summer work term. EVERY single job i looked at (ok, not ALL of them, but a vast majority of them and all of the good ones) required a valid license and vehicle -- meaning without a license, i wouldnt even have a remote shot at any job for that matter. so i got my g2, first try, near perfect test (says my instructor) minus a little "mistake" i made when manoeuvering around an illegally parked car (right at a four-way stop...what were they thinking?), came out completely elated with a giant grin on my face. walking back, i thought to myself, the only thing that can top this day off is an interview on jobmine. i got back to my room, didnt even bother checking until AK asked me something. so i checked and lo and behold, not one, but count em, TWO interviews! happy simon. simon then travels to le slc where he studies with the derek for 4.5 hrs!!!
good day indeed.
(today aside) i think God has been really good to me lately. i guess He always has, its just hard to see sometimes; but now its just blatantly obvious.
