so today i went biking and took my dad's 35mm SLR (Pentax K1000) for a spin. Twas fun. I've never really done that before, going out for the sole reason of taking pictures, that is. Now i want my own 35mm SLR because its more traditional and old school...but a digital SLR is more convenient and cheaper in the long run. so here's my to buy list. Used 35mm SLR (an oldschool one...not like the new crap) from Henry's, and then eventually, when i get a real job, a digital SLR (NOT the canon rebel).
and if you're wondering, im keeping my minolta. (wow...3 cameras for 3 different situations/events/dealies/hoohaaxibotrebaaliowcudaloit.

...i need money...i can't afford my hobbies

i know its not expensive...i can get a used one for about $200-250. But in the long run its FAR more expensive with film and developing costs...but apparently the res' in waterloo have darkrooms in there...hmmm...i could learn this year and then do it myself next year...:D
